After several years in operation, as Dearness Gardens began to grow in size and popularity, it became apparent that there was a great need for quality landscape design and installation services. Our customers frequently expressed an interest in finding a reliable landscape service provider in the Lake Norman area.

Consequently, in 1998, Terry Osborne was hired to start up our landscape division. Terry's comprehensive knowledge of plants and his friendly manner with people made him the perfect candidate for the job. By 2002, he had more business than he could handle, and thus, Ray Tefel was hired as a second fulltime landscape and Frank Metcalfe. Their areas of specialties are hardscaping, which includes landscape lighting, irrigation, and pond installation. Terry, Ray and Frank have over 45 years of combined experience in the landscaping business, and have become valuable assets toour landscape department here at Dearness Gardens.
